Once an Ozempic pen has been opened and is in use, it can be stored either at room temperature (between 59°F to 86°F or 15°C to 30°C) or in the refrigerator. Regardless of where it is stored after first use, an in-use pen must be discarded after 56 days (8 weeks), even if there is still medication remaining. Keep all medications out of the reach of children.
